Vart är du i ditt examensarbete just nu? / What are you working with right now?

Jag befinner mig i ett vägskäl där jag ska välja om jag ska jobba vidare med trappan som objekt eller om den bara ska vara en del av rummet. Men för övrigt har jag kvar mitt huvudspår kring den fragmenterade minnesbilden och den ofullständiga bilden av ett rum eller objekt.

/ I find myself in a crossroad where I have to choose if I shall continue working with the stair as an object or if it just should be a part of the room. But I still keep the fragmented memory and the unfinished picture of a rom or an object as my main concept.

Vad inspirerar dig just nu? / What inspires you right now?

Jag inspireras av tidigare arbete där har jag jobbat med att rekonstruera forntida boplatser, föremål och i viss mån även livet på den tiden.

Jag har också arbetat som attributmakare och med modellrekonstruktioner där jag för det mesta, endast, haft olika grad av fragmenterad information att utgå ifrån.

Som armerare, inom betongindustrin, fascinerades jag av den otäckta armeringens olika uppbyggnadsfaser. Det gytter av korsningar, möten och mellanrum som uppstod bildade mönster som vittnade om det ofullbordade. Mötet mellan det som gradvis förfaller och det som gradvis växer fram förenas i det ofullständiga. Likt minnesbilden av, i förhållande till föreställningen om, en person, plats eller objekt man sett eller förväntas se.

Tidsperspektivet, i sammanhanget, leder mig in på tanken om rörelse eller förflyttningen i tid och rum. När man tar sig från ett rum till ett annat, via en dörr, korridor eller trappa, bevaras minnesbilden från det ursprungliga rummet samtidigt som föreställningar och förväntningar om det icke upplevda successivt tar form. Båda bilderna är fragmenterade, var och en på sitt sätt, och kommer att vara påverkade av tidsfaktorn. Glappen som uppstår vill jag kalla ”mentala mellanrumsformer”. I dessa gör sig vår egen historia påmind genom att vi fyller i det som fattas efter bästa förmåga. Något jag upplever att poesins form har. Den levererar impulser som vi själva i olika grad får bearbeta och sätta in i, för oss, begripliga sammanhang.

/ I am inspired of my earlier job where I worked with reconstructing of ancient settlements, objects and to some extend, life at that time.

I also have background as an attribute-maker and been working with model reconstruction, where I most of the time only have had fragments of information to act up on.As an reinforce with in the concrete industry was I fascinated by the uncovered reinforce and its various constructed phases. The warren of crossings, meetings and gaps that emerged, that constructed patterns that bore withies of the unfinished. The meeting between the gradually lapsing and the gradually growing united it self in the incomplete. Like the memory of, in relation to the fantasy about a person, space or an object you have seen or expect to see.

The time prospective, in the context, lead me to the thought of movement or motion in time and space. When you move yourself from a rom to another, true a door, a corridor or stairway, preserving that memory from the original room and in the same time as ideas and expectations about the non-experienced gradually takes shape. Both pictures are fragmented, one and each in there own way, and will be affected of time. The gaps that arise, I would like to call ”mental interstice forms”. In those forms will our own story remind us true that we fill in the missing parts, something that I experience as the form of poetry. It delivers impulses that we can process and put in to build up an understanding context.

Den Tyska konstnären Anselm Kiefer. Kiefers ingång till konsten är den modena tysklands historia vilket jag tycker är intressant men det som jag framföralt gillar med hans verk är hans stämning och estetik.

/ The German artist Anselm Kiefer. Kiefers entrance to art is like the modern German history, which I find interesting. But what I mostly like about his work is the atmosphere and aesthetics.
